Looking for small studio apartment ideas makes you think out of the box. In a beautiful article on Freshome they were wondering “how exactly are we going to fit so much into so little?”
The first advise they give us is “Utility has to be your priority.” Look also in my post about how to make small room look bigger. You should keep your space tidy and organized. I love the blue line running through the space. On the white background it makes the room look bigger giving it a profound prospective.
The next example gives us a great idea how the furniture design can help us ‘squeeze’ the meter and maximize the space. Look how the office desk becomes a relaxing reading area right next to the window, which could also double as a guest bed. I love it!

Last but not least is this amazing 180 square feet studio apartment presented on Marie Claire Maison. They really squeezed it in. The built-in furniture design is brilliant and neat. I love how they used the wood to connect together the kitchen, the entrance of the washroom and the relaxing area, connected by the staircase which is also a storage place.

Small studio apartment ideas shown in this post gave me alot of inspiration for my 140 square feet space. This post with the ones I wrote before make me feel so grateful for all those people who designed these smart small spaces, and all of those people whom exposed these projects in the net. Thank you!
